Anniversary cakes are so special. . . especially when you're privileged to make it for someone's 28th wedding anniversary. The couple wanted a cake that tasted like an almond joy candy bar; chocolate cake layers filled with coconut buttercream and sliced almonds, then iced in more coconut buttercream and ganache. The decorations are simple but really make a love statement with the metallic gold and silver accents and wispy flowers.
