The "terracotta pot" was chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling/crumb coat and covered in fondant. I learned a lot while making this. It was my first "sculpted cake" as well as my first cake covered in homemade fondant. Surprisingly, the fondant came out much softer and tastier then store bought. I am excited to use it on future cakes!
